Denton, TX, Jan. 29, 2025 The Jiu Long Lion Dance Troupe performed inside the University Union Emerald Ballroom in celebration of the Lunar New Year hosted by the University Program Council on Jan. 29, 2025. The event was free to attend, with several organizations setting up booths in hopes of recruiting. With the event originally taking place at the Library Mall, UPC quickly changed the location inside due to weather conditions. Food, crafts and dancing still took place.

The gallery’s theme was “Wombed by Paradox” by Kaley Ngo & Vo. Margaitis was walking around the union when she saw the painting “Existential Gaze” by Kaley Ngo, which caught her eye.

Denton, TX A soccer match occurred in front of the Pohl Recreation Center on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. The team was made aware of the sign that reads “Please keep off the grass,” but still managed to play on it.

Corinth, TX, Jan. 22, 2025 With no time to waste entering the backyard, Golden Retriever, 3, Kona jumps on the trampoline with one of her tennis balls and lays down, looking up at the sky on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, in Corinth, Tx. Kona was adopted three years ago by a family out in the country who did not have the funds to keep the whole litter and was selling the puppies. While she does have another dog to keep her company, Kona gets separation anxiety from humans if she is not near or has not seen one of the family members in a while.
